June 1st meeting:

We had a wonderful small group attend our 6th meeting. The seven of us had time to share much more in depth. Of course we also updated our journey's.

We prayed for our folks that normally attend that were unable to make it to this meeting. We also read and discussed 1 Peter 5:10, we believe  that verse has a special message for those of us who have suffered due to our journey with cancer.

We look so forward to our next meeting on Friday July the 6th.

May 5th meeting

We held our 5th meeting on Friday May 4th. Fourteen folks attended, we are so blessed to have developed a group that provides support for each other. Please come join us we have plenty of room thanks to the wonderful Gathering Place.

Our Spiritual Leadership was provided by Dr. George Calhoun Senior Pastor of The Seventh Day Baptist Milton. We discussed The Unmerciful Servant Matthew 18:21-35 and 13 Steps to Forgiving the Unforgivable By Dr. Charles Stanley from the book "The Gift of Forgiveness".

As always we had the opportunity to update and share our Journey's. Plus folks had to put up with the "Dumb Joke of the Month" by yours truly.

Our Sister Christian Cancer Support Group had their first meeting at The Chapel On The Hill Church in Lake Geneva. My wife and I were among the 21 who attended. It is so wonderful that they are now providing support for folks in that area.

Our next meeting will be held on Friday June 1st.
