New Trip! Gangsters on a Boat Tour

Join Sue as she travels to Lake Como near Lake Geneva on Thursday, June 6. This is a brand new tour offered at Mar's Resort. First we will have a nice lunch at the resort on the water ( burgers, fish sandwich, brats, chicken & reuben sandwiches, chef salads). Then it's into a brand new 50-foot pontoon boat. Tom Laughlin will be the tour guide. Gangsters loved Wisconsin back in the days of Prohibition and Lake Como was a big part of it. Main bad boy was George Bugs Moran, along with Baby Face Nelson, members of the John Dillinger gang and more. You will have the chance to literally walk in the foot steps of the gangsters on the 60-90 minute boat cruise that features a look at the hot spots where the gangsters used to hang out. Cost is $55 per person which includes lunch and the cruise. We need a minimum of 20 people and a maximum of 35. Deadline to sign up is May 31. We will leave at 10:30 a.m. with the van and extra cars to help transport. We plan on returning at approximately 3:30 p.m. You must be physically able to get in and out of a pontoon boat.
