Writing/Reading/Music

Book and Puzzle Exchange
If you are looking for a book to read or a puzzle to tackle you can come to The Gathering place front driveway every Wednesday from 11:45 to 1:00 pm. We will have a table outside of books and puzzles outside. You can pull up in the front of the building or in the parking lot and look through the books and puzzles. Feel free to take home one or two at a time. You may also return books and puzzles to us

We Will Take Your Used Books!
If your library at home is getting filled to the brim, then please think about donating books to the TGP library. We will accept hard cover or paperback books in good condition that are three years or newer. We need new selections for Wednesday book pick up day.

Musical Shows on Facebook!
Elvis lives! If you are craving some music while sequestered at home, we have some ideas to keep your toes tapping!
* Go to your Facebook page and search for "Strictly Elvis Show"
* Look for a red background with living room furniture. Click on that and you will be able to hear Elvis music!
---Also, Jamie Rudnitski's Facebook page has several musical programs to listen to.

Send a Card to Someone!
Make someone's day and send a card or letter to them. It doesn't have to be for a special occasion. It can just be to say "Hi, I'm thinking about you."  In this crazy time it may be just the ticket for someone who may be lonely!

Calling all Writers!
We are putting together a monthly section in the newletter called "The Way We Were." Every month we will select a story to publish. The only requirement is that is contain tales from your childhood and be no more than 400 words. To submit or if you have questions, please contact Sara at 608-868-3500 or tgpadmin@charter.net

Writing Group
Do you have a story to tell? The Writing Group meets every Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.  They welcome new writers to the group. This would be a great time to join this group and share your own stories. Everyone is welcome!
